ZentangleZentangle came bounding into my life in April 2009 with an ATC (Artists' Trading Card) swap. I was up til midnight perusing the Zentangle site. When I found out there was a Teachers Training Program, I was determined to BE THERE. So it was! Sept 29, 2009, I flew off to Whitinsville, Massachusetts and returned with loads of patterns and ideas on October 2 as a 'Certified Zentangle Teacher'. The Zentangle Newsletters have great patterns in which each step is visually explained usually followed by several wonderful examples. Prior to the Teachers workshop, I played with Zentangles every chance I got. I put them on envelopes, bookmarks, ATC's, Origami cranes and boxes, even on glass with SILVER clay! Nothing could stop me LOL We have a Manatee Gecko Fest in Bradenton, Florida, every few years and this year, I DID a Gecko.. her name is Gwen-Tangle Gwen-Tangle happened after the Certified Teacher Training. Since my background includes teaching, I developed and now teach a basic class and an advanced class locally. If you are in the area, please look for classes at Keeton's. Since it is so much fun, I DO travel.... give me a call :> patsy these few lines are to tell you .. TRY ZENTANGLE in any way you can! Do it on your own thru the Newsletters, Take a class or more!
